APPLIED TECHNOLOGIES ENGINEER

Applications are now invited for the above position, reporting to Engineering Manager ACE. The role will be to provide general technical support, including R&D assistance, for ACG sales in all markets and project engineering support for ACG.

This includes the following:

• Providing customers with in-depth technical support and assisting in material and process development for those customers.
• Identifying R&D opportunities, both customer and ACG driven, defining appropriate programmes of work and co-ordinating this work within ACG.
• Assisting in ACG product and process development by the initiation of new production methods and processes.
• Owning, planning and controlling ACE and ACG projects.
• Handling customer relations with respect to the project and, where assigned, be the nominated contact for ACG.
• Managing the commercial and financial aspects of ACE and ACG projects.
• Manage or be a member of ACG integrated project teams, as appropriate.
• Production of detailed quotations from customer information.
• Production of shop-floor work instructions and associated information.
• Project planning and cost analysis.
• Liaising with ACE Production staff and ACG Technical staff to provide optimum technical solutions.
• Helping to develop the Project Engineering resources required to support ACE's business and roles within ACG.
• Maintaining good record keeping and filing.
• Promoting good communication within all project teams.
• Attending meetings both at ACE and at the customer's site.
