We currently have an opportunity for a Bid Controller - UK within our Passengers Division.
Position summary:
To prepare clear and transparent
financial bid documentation and maintain integrity and compliance with
Group guidelines and standards.
Major Objectives:
- Liaise with Bid Functions and
Projects in preparing BT's best possible price while maximizing profits
and meeting our customers aspirations.
- Present financial status to bid team / senior management / Division and Group.
- Working with the bid team ensure timely responses to customer ITT's / tenders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Set financial targets and
benchmarks and review and positively challenge functional costings,
including Risks, Contingencies and Opportunities.
- Calculate all relevant financial items including guarantees, bonds, interests, cash flows, escalation, inflation and margins.
- Ensure integrity and compliance with Group and Divisional guideline and targets
